- ========================
-
- THIS CPX-MODUL NEED MiNT! (or it is useless!)
-
- It displays the current running processes and offers the possibilty to
- change process priority and to send a signal to the process. If there are GEM
- process, the AES id will be display too. Under MTOS the kernel and der acc's
- will be displayed too.
-
- A line looks like this:
- NAME STATUS MiNT-ID GEM-ID (or -- for TOS programs) PRIORITY (-20..20)
-
- By doubleklicking or selcting and open you reach the "special-info-menu".
- Here you can send signals and change priority. If you try to send a signal to
- a TSR or a process, that's not you own, an error will be reported.
-
- Some hints:
- - NEVER KILL MiNT!!!
- - If you want to kill a GEM-process use SIGTERM. Then the process has a chance
- to exit gracefully.
- - If you use BGACC then don't kill the MINTSHEL, if any other process is
- running or you'll get a zombie.
- - A priority to +20 won't speed up you computer. (Use GEM-load to see the
- effect)
-
- There is no liability for any effects caused by using this program. Use at
- you own risk. It has been tested with TOS 1.04,2.06 and MiNT 0.95,0.95. Thanks
- go to Dieter Fiebelkorn for CPX sourcecodes, errorreports and suggestions.
